Application
Crockmeter tester todetermine colour fastness of textile to dry or wet rubbing, fitted with handcrank/counter. The Crockmeter tests the transference of color from thesurface of one material to another by either wet or dry rubbing. In addition tocolor transference tests, the Crockmeter performs scuffing, wet/dry abrasion,flexing, powdering, dry-cleaning, ink abrasiveness, and other tests. Testconditions are controlled and reproducible through the use of standard pressureand motion.
The SFT T5-5030 Rotary Crockmeteris applies 1134 gram of pressure ona 16mm finger and rotates 1.125 turns clockwise then anti-clockwise. Theoperating handle is however turned in one direction only.
