Application
The coating hardness is an important physical property of thecoating film, and its size directly affects some important performance of thecoating film. The standard GB/T6739 is implemented. For example, abrasionresistance, abrasive resistance, abrasion resistance, scratch resistance,impact resistance, retention effect of coating film and difficulty in cleaning,etc. Therefore, coating film hardness is a necessary indicator to evaluate coatingperformance. Applicable This instrument can easily measure the film hardness.
The instrument is mainly composed of a pencil holder and a testbench. The pencil holder and a column are composed of four linkage mechanisms,which ensure that the weight of the weight acts vertically on the intersectionof the pencil lead and the test bench, and keep the pencil and the test benchat 45 °, with the included angle unchanged. The test bench can be movedvertically and horizontally. Use it to fix the paint sample plate and move thesample plate towards the direction of scratch. The box pencil will draw thecorresponding track on the test piece. Use different pencils to draw differentmarks, according to which the hardness value of the coating film can be determined.
