Application
The hammer consists basically of a strikingelement which falls freely from rest through a pendulum height,selected from following table 1, the axis of the pivot is at 1000mm above the measuring point, and thependulum is composed of a nominally rigid arm and of a striking elementcomplying with the requirements of table 2.
In all cases, when the pendulum is released, it shall be allowed to fallonly under the influence of gravitational force.
