Apparatus for Compression Test for The Verification Of Resistance To Heat (Model:SFT S2-1312)
Application
Theapparatus comprises two steel jaws, having a cylindrical face of 25 mm radius,a width of 15 mm and a length of 50 mm. The length of 50 mm can be increased,depending on the size of the accessory to be tested. The corners are roundedwith a radius of 2,5 mm.
The specimenis clamped between the jaws in such a way that these press against it in thearea where it is gripped in normal use, the center line of the jaws coincidingas nearly as possible with the center of this area. The force applied throughthe jaws is 20 N. the test being made in a heating cabinet at a temperature of(80 ± 2) °C.
