Cordless Kettle & Cordless Iron Insert-Pull Tester (Model:SFT S2-1067)
Application
To use for the insert-pull test ofcordless kettle and foundation, confirm to the IEC60335-2-15 clause 22.103.
The appliance coupler of cordlesskettles shall be constructed to withstand the stresses occurring during normaluse. The tow live pins of the kettle are connected together and an externalresistive load is connected in series with the supply.
The kettle is placed on its standand withdrawn 10000 times at a rate of approximately 10 times per minute, thetest is continued for a further 10000 times without current flowing.
To use for the insert-pull test ofcordless iron, confirm to the IEC60335-2-3 clause 22.105.
The connection contacts of cordlessirons shall be constructed so that any electrical or mechanical failureoccurring in normal use will not give rise to a hazard
Compliance is checked by thefollowing test:
The two live pins of the iron areconnected together and an external resistive load is connected in series withthe supply. The external load is such that the current is 1,1 times theratedcurrent when the iron is supplied at rated voltage.
The iron is placed on its standandwithdrawn 50 000 times, at a rate of 10 times per min. The test is continuedfor a further 50 000 times without current flowing
